Session 4 – Immediate loading and full arch reconstruction

Moderation: Bach Le

Full arch reconstruction – digital success

Hamad Alqadhi and Mahmoud Qabazard

Aims and objectives

  • What are the immediate loading concepts and have they changed in recent times
  • Does full arch reconstruction benefit from immediate loading initially
  • Does  immediate Loading in full arch reconstruction create more stable bone and soft tissue for the long term.

Abstract

  • this lecture examines whether immediate loading is beneficial for full arch reconstruction and if it helps to stabilize the bone and soft tissue for the long term.
  • The concept of immediate loading after immediate placement has been modernised to include simultaneous soft tissue grafting (surgical veneer) especially in the aesthetic zone.

Fazeela Khan-Osborne

The goal is to explain the diagnosis and digital protocol along with the prosthetic and periodontal planification in order to obtain predictable results after the immediate loading of the full arch . We emphasize the importance of soft tissue grafts to get esthetic and stable results and the efficiency and predictability of the results thanks to the digital planning from the diagnosis to the treatment execution.

Learning objectives

  • To comprehend the prosthodontic steps necessary for a good diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • To learn how to implement soft tissue augmentation techniques in order to achieve stable long-term results.
  • To understand the basic and advanced digital workflow to obtain predictable results when rehabilitating full arches.
